Bee's Knees
A Prohibition-era cocktail designed to mask a bad gin, but delicious with a great one.
Honey and Marmalade Sour
Orange marmalade may be sweet, but it also offers an underlying bitterness reminiscent of burnt caramel. Lemon juice helps the citrus sing while honey mellows the whole thing out in this intensely flavorful vodka sour. It's the kind of versatile cocktail that's equally appropriate day or night, all year round.
The Swarm
This variation on a Honey Bee cocktail cuts the sweetness of rum and honey with Cynar.
Falling Leaves
Created by New York mixological maestro Audrey Saunders, the Falling Leaves is a great autumn drink that works well as a conversation starter as guests arrive. Not only rich and flavorful, the Falling Leaves packs less of an alcoholic wallop than a typical cocktail, so you'll be able to enjoy your drink without throwing yourself off stride while putting the finishing touches on the meal--and maybe even mix a second round at halftime.
The Copywriter
An easy-drinking Irish whiskey cocktail from Steven Weiss of Craftbar in NYC.
Harvest Moon
"When we get to this season," says PDT's Jim Meehan, we switch from white spirits like tequila or white rum to brown ones like rye, and move toward stirred cocktails instead of refreshing, hydrating shaken ones." This fall drink uses Lillet Blanc as a counterweight, picking up the orange flavors and connecting the base spirits to the liqueur and bitters.
Gold Rush Cocktail
Bourbon, lemon, and honey combine for a cocktail that's perfect in all seasons.
The Honey Ryder (Upgraded Appletini)
If any drink was in desperate need of redemption, it's the Appletini. Taking inspiration from James Bond and his Vesper Martini I reached for a unique Polish spirit in order to create this tasty libation.
Mott and Mulberry
This cocktail was created by Leo Robitschek of The Nomad and Eleven Madison Park in New York City. It spices up apple cider with rye and Amaro Abano, an amaro that's a bit more bitter than Averna, and a bit less mentholated-tasting than Fernet.
Bramble
As gorgeous as it is delicious, with blackberry liqueur slowly seeping into every sip.
Each element of this fall cocktail from Gramercy Tavern mingles with the others beautifully; be sure to use an earthier, dry style of mead.

The Appetizer No. 4
In general, bourbon tends to work best in cocktails when its flavor can stand front and center, lightly adorned by trace amounts of other ingredients. Here's a drink that fits the bill: the Appetizer No. 4.
Strawberry Cheesecake Sundae Pots
Like the look of this? It's incredibly easy to make - and no bake! A twist on the classic cheesecake, this is perfect for entertaining because all the elements can be made ahead then simply assembled prior
The Claridge
But while the Slope keeps me coming back to the magical interaction between rye whiskey, apricot brandy, and bitter vermouth, the Claridge keeps the stone fruit's appeal alive when it's mixed with gin and dry vermouth.

Crème de la Crème à la Edgar inspired by The Aristocats — Binging With Babish
Oh Edgar, you sly old fox. Drugging and kidnapping kittens for profit, you rapscallion. Spiking milk with barbital like some droog from A Clockwork Orange, you madcap rascal. YOU COULD'VE HURT MONSIEUR ROQUEFORT. I'm glad he tied your shoes together.
Rachel's Trifle inspired by Friends — Binging With Babish
The residents of 90 Bedford Street enjoy a rich variety of culinary contributions from roommate Rachel Green - her traditional English trifle receiving the greatest acclaim, particularly from Joey and a lucky passerby bird. Go ahead and don't enjoy this meaty, jammy monstrosity this holiday season.
Partly Cloudy
A riff on a Dark and Stormy; the resemblance comes in the pairing of ginger and rum (and, well, the name). At the Spotted Pig, bar manager Ryan Gannon makes his own falernum: a sweet syrup that uses allspice and ginger and clove and lime zest steeped in over-proof rum "until it gets nice and happy," when it's combined with simple syrup with almond extract; in the drink, it commingles with lime and grapefruit juice along with Mount Gay rum, Aperol, and ginger beer.
Northern Spy
The Northern Spy is an exceptional cocktail that I hesitate to refer to as a Thanksgiving drink, if for no other reason than I think it's a fine tipple for any time of the season.
